GT’s new Angle Optimized Suspension (AOS) consists of a high pivot point and strategically positioned shock hardware for a lower centre of gravity along with chain growth-reducing ‘Pathlink’ linkage which moves the 13.5 inch bottom bracket in relation to suspension action. The 27.5”/650b wheelsize combines the smooth rolling of a 29er with the agile handling of a 26” wheel, keeping up momentum but manoeuvring deftly on switchbacks and tighter turns. Add in dropper seatposts with remote (except the Elite model) 130mm of front and rear travel and light and powerful brakes and you’ve got yourself the perfect trail tamer.
