These SKS mudguards are perfect halfway house between quick fit keep-the-worst-off style 'guards, and the full length permanent type. Simple and easy to fit too, and solid and sturdy when riding. A couple of points to note though. The rear mudguard fixes to the chainstay bridge using two metal plates that form a clamp, which works brilliantly, but may be problematic if your frame doesn't feature such a bridge. Second, and potentially of more concern is the mounting of the front mudguard. In my case the front disc brake caliper would be in the way of the fork dropout eyes, however as there are mounting bosses all over the fork, I simply used the pair nearest the bottom of the fork. My bike, a Genesis CDA, has 700 x 32 semi slicks on, and these mudguards fit perfectly. I would think that tyres much wider than these would be unlikely to fit as well.
