The Alcatraz features a 6061 Series 3 alloy frame, with a burly double-butted tubeset for the best ride quality and stiffness, tapered headtubes for maximum strength on big jumps, and horizontal dropout with slotted IS disc brake tabs.
We have optimised the chainstay length of the Alcatraz to make sure you can have the shortest chainstays possible, giving you the ability to pop a wheelie or manual anywhere at any time.
The Alcatraz features 135x10mm horizontal dropouts — the standard in dirt jump technology for axle and dropout strength.
The location of the internal routing port allows for the rear brake to be located on the left or right-hand side of the handlebars.
The Marin Alcatraz is equipped with a Manitou Circus Expert fork, providing 100mm of coil-sprung travel and a tapered steerer tube for precise handling and control. The bike’s single-speed drivetrain features a Marin forged alloy crankset with a 32T chainring, ensuring simple and reliable performance. Tektro HDM275 hydraulic disc brakes deliver powerful stopping power, essential for dirt jumps and technical riding.
The Marin custom extrusion rims, paired with Vee Tire XCV 26x2.25” tyres, offer a stable and durable wheelset, ready to tackle any terrain. The ambidextrous internal routing for the rear brake adds flexibility for customisation, while the Marin alloy seat post and DJ saddle provide comfort and support.

Jump Bike Size guide
Jump bikes are designed and intended for Dirt jumps, street and skatepark riding. Not for riding any distance.
They primarily use a 26” wheel with the frame only available in one size, to suit riders taller than 4’5” or 137cm.
Some manufacturers offer a long or short length bike. Riders over 5’10” or 178cm will prefer the longer option.
