Cannondale Slice 2015
Updated Tri range
For 2015 the Cannondale Slice range has been through some changes. Notably the RS TT model has been dropped from UK markets with a shift in focus to the rising demand of triathlon/ Ironman events. The frame is built with the same BallisTec carbon fibre used in the exceptional SuperSix Evo - it’s claimed to be the lightest frame in its class.

The Slice has been designed less for TT but more for multi-sport athletes that need comfort, handling and performance. New for this year are TAP (Truncated Aero Profile), teardrop shaped tubes. When combined with the rear wheel hugging seat tube, you have drag defying performance.
The front end is just as aero with very narrow frame tube cross sections - 8mm wide seat stays, 1 - â…›” steerer and 18mm wide seatpost. The aero profile of the Slice and super light BallisTec Carbon frame deliver extreme acceleration and surprising comfort - ideal for those 112 mile sections.

Why? Keeps you lower over the centre of the bike for a more aero position for best possible blend of stability, handling and control.
Front end aerodynamics

Why? The front end is incredibly narrow to massively reduce drag so you can accelerate and climb faster.
Truncated Aerodynamic Profile (TAP) tubes
