Features
Hyper responsive
The Cannondale Scalpel is all about precisely cutting through any trail or singletrack, to do this the entire design is geared around improving the responsiveness of the machine. The BallisTec Carbon and SmartFormed Alloy frame options are super light and stiff. The 29er race geometry with steeper head angle and short chainstays give the Scalpel a shorter wheelbase for incredibly sharp and responsive handling. ECS-TC technology removes the slight, unnerving flex you often find on an XC bike where the swingarm joins the front triangle. This again improves stiffness...meaning far greater responsiveness.
