Cannondale F-Series 2015
XC racing titans
The Cannondale F-Series comes with a brand new model for 2015. The F-SI is a high-spec, race optimized XC hardtail, that pushes the limits of performance. Its unique Ai (asymmetric integration) drivetrain, slack geometry and carbon frame make for an exceptional machine that gets podium finishes. Back for 2015 is the much loved F29 model, with its proven race winning geometry, always a favourite with XC riders.

Features
Race performance
Cannondale’s F-Series range is all about getting those XC wins. That’s why they’ve taken a unique approach with the F-SI. It features an Ai drivetrain; they’ve shifted the drivetrain and rear triangle to the right, by 6mm. The result is an ultra-stiff back wheel, with super short chainstays, decent ground clearance and a responsive rear end. The F29 comes with race proven geometry, short chainstays, a lower bottom bracket and steeper head angle (on the Carbon models) gives you the sharp handling of a 26” but with the smooth rolling ability of a classic 29er.

Rider
Serious competitive XC racers
The Cannondale F-Series is dialled up for the best XC racers, who need every last drop of performance, on every part of the trail to win. The F-SI models and F29 carbon models are for advanced, technically proficient riders, but the F29 AL 5 makes a great performance entry-level machine for those who have some experience and the desire to progress.

Ai drivetrain
What? (F-SI model) The drivetrain and rear triangle have been shifted to the right by 6mm
Why? Creates an incredibly stiff rear wheel, and the shortest chainstays on any XC machine, which moves the wheel under the rider for better traction on technical trails.
Lefty integration
What? Cannondale’s amazing Lefty suspension
Why? The Lefty is great for XC racing, it’s feather light, crazy stiff and perfect for fast rolling big 29er wheels.
BallisTec Carbon
What? Cannondale’s high quality carbon frame using military grade carbon fibre and high strength resins.
Why? The frame is both light and strong, meaning you can fly up climbs and take the hits on the descents.
