Frame & Fork

Central to the performance of the Venge Expert is a FACT 10r carbon frame (and FACT carbon fork) which is very light and very fast.  Aero shaped tubes and stays help to direct air around the frame and wheels causing minimal drag to shave extra seconds off your time.

A tapered head tube reduces weight whilst improving front-end stiffness and precision steering. The head tube junction is wide at the crown and narrow at the waist while tapering back to an airfoil shape.  This piece of frame engineering improves stiffness for better efficiency, without sacrificing weight and actually improving aerodynamics.

Internal cable routing keeps the lines clean for an extra aero boost, and they make the frame look slick too.

Components

Specialized have expertly matched the impressive frame with high quality spec including a 22 speed Shimano Ultegra drivetrain.  Ultegra is just one level below to top-of-line Dura Ace - it is a competition level drivetrain. Ultegra brakes feature the reliability, performance and consistency you would expect from Shimano.

Fulcrum S3 rims are fast and lightweight, and perfectly suited to racing, while Specialized’s own Turbo Pro tyres give low rolling resistance and impressive traction in the corners.
