Frame and Fork

Featuring Women’s endurance geometry the lightweight carbon fibre composite frame will make you comfortable in the saddle on long rides, without feeling too stretched out.

The secret to the Ruby’s compliant ride is the Zertz vibration damping inserts in the seatstays and fork (there is also one in the carbon seatpost for 2015). These absorb the vibrations from uneven road surfaces that travel through the wheels and up the frame. Road vibration is one of the main causes of fatigue and it is by reducing them that the Ruby keeps you fresh in the saddle for longer.

Steering is precise thanks to the tapered steerer on the full carbon fork and the oversized bottom bracket ensures that there is no flex when standing on the pedals.

Components

The Shimano Ultegra/105 11 speed groupset offers smooth precise shifting across the range. Paired with a stiff and lightweight Praxis Works, TURN Zayante chainset, power transfer is immediate.

The contact points are all specifically designed specifically for female riders. The saddle uses ergonomic women’s body geometry technology and the handlebars feature a low drop for a perfect riding position. Crank lengths are selected specifically for each frame size so you can be sure to have a perfect fit on the bike.

The Fulcrum S4 wheels are strong and lightweight making climbing easier and acceleration quicker. The 25c Turbo Pro tyres are great for long rides over mixed terrain and BlackBelt puncture protection will help on wet roads and difficult surfaces.
