Named after the infamous road race, the Specialized Roubaix SL4 Elite Disc is fast, efficient and comfortable, designed for taking on the Paris-Roubaix. This is an endurance road bike that really does let you eat up the miles thanks to an exceptional frame matched with performance spec.

Frame & Fork

At the heart of this Roubaix is Specialized’s high quality FACT 8r carbon composite for a frame which is light, stiff and strong, with natural road dampening properties to help smooth out road buzz - keeping you feeling fresh.

For a more comfortable ride Specialized haven’t used their stiffest modulus fibres which would make for a bone shattering ride on rougher terrain and sacrifice vertical compliance. Instead they’ve built features into the frame to compensate this. The seatstays are designed, straight-lined to the dropout, and come with Zertz micro-suspension to increase lateral stiffness whilst keeping vertical compliance. The seatpost is designed to suspend the rider from bumps and impacts for a smoother ride.

You’ll also find Zertz in the carbon fork, again helping to reduce road buzz from reaching your muscles. All of these features are designed to give you a more comfortable ride without sacrificing speed.

Components

The Specialized Roubaix SL4 Elite is the only model in the range to feature SRAM components featuring double tap shifting. SRAM Rival derailleurs provide crisp performance and excellent consistency so you can get the most out of your steed.

Brakes also come courtesy of SRAM. The Rival hydraulic disc brakes are very powerful and will stop you in the poorest conditions. AXIS 2.0 rims are robust and smooth running for years of faithful service wrapped in quality Specialized Espoir Elite tyres.
