Specialized Ariel Step Through Womens 2015 - Hybrid Sports Bike

The Ariel is a womens specific ‘go anywhere’ step through hybrid sport bike.  The super low top tube makes it easy to mount and dismount the bike in confidence, while the geometry and components all provide an excellent fit for sporty female riders.

Frame & Fork

The Ariel has been thoughtfully designed specifically for women riders, to fit their anatomy.  Every contact point creates a precise fit thanks to features like a shorter stack and reach with size specific cranks.  

The frame is made from aluminium which is strong, light and stiff for great cycling.  Specialized have double butted the tubes, meaning they have shaved excess material off the frame so it becomes lighter, but still retains all it’s strength.

The Sport Disc also features a custom SR Suntour NEX fork with 60mm of front suspension to smooth out small lumps and bumps.  

Components

The 24 speed Specialized Ariel comes with Shimano components including an Altus rear mech for improved durability and reliable performance. Die-cast alloy V-brakes give you good braking, especially useful during busy urban commutes.

700c rims keep you rolling smoothly, whilst reinforced rims prevent buckling and deforming over continued use.
