Specialized Ariel Elite Disc Womens 2016 - Hybrid Sports Bike

Featuring elements of both road and mountain bikes the Specialized Ariel Elite Disc is a Ladies hybrid bike that is equally at home on gravel tracks as it is on the road.

Frame and Fork

The A1 Premium aluminium frame is lightweight and features Women’s Fitness Geometry which offers a comfortable upright riding position. The top tube is a little shorter than you’d get on a unisex bike which means that you won’t feel too stretched on the bike. A low standover height makes getting on and off that much easier.

Tuned specifically for lighter riders the custom SR Suntour fork offers 63mm of suspension travel and features multi circuit damping for premium off-road performance. You can easily lock the fork out for extra efficiency on smooth roads and climbs.

The Ariel is stable on rough surfaces and offers good visibility on urban roads.

Components

The Shimano Deore 2x10 speed drivetrain provides a wide range of gears, in a user friendly double ring set up. Crank lengths are size specific so that your pedaling efficiency is optimised whether you ride an XS or an L.

Stopping is taken care of with Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes. Powerful and reliable these brakes work just as well in the wet as they do in the dry so you can control your speed with confidence whatever the weather.

Specialized Women’s Body Geometry saddle and handlebar grips are shaped to offer maximum support helping you to feel comfortable on the bike for longer.
