Mondraker Foxy Carbon R Mountain Bike 2018 - Trail Full Suspension MTB

The Mondraker Foxy Carbon R full sus MTB is made for both enduro racing and to take on challenging mountain trails.

The Mondraker Foxy Carbon R has a new Stealth Carbon frame for 2018. The Foxy Carbon has revised Forward Geometry, giving it an even more capable ride, with longer reach and wheelbase, and a slacker head angel. It features oversized 15mm axles and larger bearings for greater stiffness and durability, as well as downtube and chainstay protectors that save the frame from rock strikes and the chain. Boost 12x148mm spacing allows for a shorter rear end, giving nimble handling and extra tyre clearance. The Foxy is only allows for a 1x drivetrain.

A Trunion mounted RockShox Deluxe RL rear shock allows the 150mm travel to gobble the bumps. The Zero Suspension System uses two links that both connect to the shock to create a ‘floating’ system. It offers a neutral pedalling platform while climbing, yet opens completely for descents to keep you glued to the ground.

Up front, the RockShox Revelation RC keeps the front under control. It shares the same lowers as the much-praised Pike, and uses the Motion Control damper to smoothen the trails. With 150mm travel, you’re set to take on the whole mountain.

SRAM’s 1x11 speed NX drivetrain gives you plenty of gear range to get to the top of climbs and speed down the other side. And on the way down the Shimano MT500 brakes give plenty of control to keep speed in check.
