Merida eOne-Forty 400 2023 - Electric Mountain Bike
If you are looking for top descending performance that doesn't sacrifice the 'all day' riding abilities, then the Shimano STEPS EP8 powered Merida eOne-Forty with integrated battery technology is the perfect full suspension e-bike for you. A modern mountain bike geometry, inspired by its bigger brother, the eOne-Sixty, but with an even lower stand over height, steeper seat angle and slightly steeper head angle, combined with a balanced reach and a low bottom bracket, gives the bike maximum agility and fantastic climbing characteristics. Exactly what you are looking for in an all-day full suspension e-MTB.
Key features:
- Hydroformed 6061 double butted aluminium with intergrated battery frame
- Suntour XCR34 LOR DS forks with 140mm of bump soaking travel
- Suntour RS-Edge shock takes care of the 140mm of rear travel
- Shimano 1x10 gears give enough range to climb anything
- Shimano brakes offer all weather stopping power
- Sizes: M (41.5cm) , L (43cm) , XL (45cm) , XXL (47cm)
- Colours: Anthracite/Black
- The Merida EOne-Forty 400 is available with 0% APR finance
Drive information:
- Motor: Shimano E8036; 630Wh internal battery, Shimano Steps EP8; 85Nm
- Battery: 630 Wh (S frame size - 504Wh)
- Interface: Shimano SC-E5003A
The eOne-Forty shares exactly the same frame and design features but has different ride characteristics.
The shock stroke on the eOne-Forty is shorter, reducing rear travel to 133mm and creating a steeper seat angle. The shorter 140mm fork extends the reach, delivering a slightly steeper head angle. In combination these small changes make the eOne-Forty more agile and playful; a highly competent climber that's perfect for all day riding.
The mixed wheel size set up is carried over, to give the e-full suspension bikes precise steering, fantastic ‘rolling over obstacles’ behaviour yet maximum traction, a 29er front wheel with a 2.5" tyre is combined with a 650B rear wheel, equipped with a slightly wider 2.6" tyre. The perfect combination of precision, playfulness and traction.
All eOne-Forty models use the powerful Shimano EP8 85NM motor and bigger 630Wh battery (with the exception of frame size - S which uses 504Wh).
Please note in order to connect to Shimano's eTube app, an additional USB cable and dock will be required for the SC-E5003A unit. The unit itself is NOT bluetooth compatible.

Merida eOne-Forty 400 2023 - Electric Mountain Bike
Arrived very quick and was well packed. It came with all the paper work and even a couple of tools and a set of peddles to get me started. All I had to do was straighten the handlebars. All nuts and bolts were tight. Bike is perfect and rides like a dream. I even got a phone call asking if everything was ok. I have purchased many items from Tredz but never a bike but this was so easy and stress free experience. The bike itself is awesome
