With the Merida Scultura Disc 500 road bike you’re getting an advanced aluminium frame with racing pedigree and new for this year – disc brakes.

The Scultura Disc 500 is built with a lightweight 6066 aluminium frame with triple butted and hydroformed tubes for the best strength to weight ratio. Flex stay seat stays (only 10mm thick) soak up road vibrations for comfort on rough conditions.

Up front a carbon fork reduces frame weight and helps absorb road impact. When matched to an X-taper headtube the front end is super stiff for precision cornering.

Clad to the frame is a pro level Shimano Ultegra 2x11 speed drivetrain offering super crisp and precise shifting across a wide range of gears (one step down from top of line Dura Ace). Powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer consistent and controlled braking in all weather conditions.

From road races to sportives and the morning commute, the Merida Scultura Disc 500 is a versatile all-rounder road bike.
