Merida Ride 88 2015 - Road Bike

A comfort race bike developed to take on tough road surfaces like the cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix road race course. The Merida Ride 88 is a road bike that will will keep you fresh in the saddle so that you can ride faster for longer.

The double butted aluminium frame has a relaxed geometry - slightly shorter top tube and longer head tube - which translates into a comfortable riding position which, in turn, reduces fatigue over long rides. The head tube is tapered which provides a stiff interface with the fork. This adds precision to the steering and confidence while cornering.

A full carbon fork - blades and steerer - reduces weight, helps to eliminate road buzz and is a real plus point on a bike at this price point (it's the same fork as on the Ride 300).
