Developed to take on demanding road surfaces like the notorious cobblestones of the Paris-Roubaix road race course. The Merida Ride 400 is a comfort road race bike that will help you to ride faster for longer.

Profiled 'flex stays' on the rear triangle, of the triple butted aluminium frame, reduce vibration traveling through the frame, which helps to reduce fatigue while riding. The geometry is 'comfort race' oriented - with a slightly higher front end and shorter reach - which gives an efficient, confident riding position perfect for long distances and rough road surfaces.

The race carbon fork is lightweight and helps to reduce road buzz. With a tapered steerer the fork is very stiff and offers precise, confident handling. The quality Fulcrum Racing Sport wheelset is lightweight whilst still being strong enough to take on the cobbles.

New for 2015 the Shimano 11 speed 105 groupset provides top level shifting performance. Combined with a two piece compact crankset this gives a good range of gears for taking on all terrain.

Available in Lampre Merida team colours, or subtle white, the Ride 400 is a great bike for sportives, long distance racing or any rides over difficult road surfaces.
