The Crossway 600 is Merida's top of the range all-rounder hybrid bike. This is a machine that is ready for anything, right out of the box. Not just good as a commuter, the 600 is good for leisurely rides, some fitness training and even off-roading.

Frame & Fork

The frame is excellent, made from 6061 aluminium alloy. This alloy is light, stiff and strong for all round cycling performance. Double butting has further removed weight from the frame by shaving excess material out from the tubes. Smooth welding and concealed cable routing (under the downtube) give the Crossway a slick design.

63mm of suspension travel allows you to leave the tarmac for something more adventurous.

Components

Shimano Deore / XT-T drivetrain is precise, reliable and durable. It's a good set-up on a hybrid bike at this price point and when matched with the hydraulic disc brakes hints at the off-roading capabilities of this bike.

Tektro Auriga-T hydraulic disc brakes are powerful in any weather and ground conditions.So even on the muddiest track you'll stop confidently.These brakes are also well-suited to the rapid stop / start nature of busy commuting.
