Mavic Ksyrium Pro Exalith Road Wheel Set

Lightweight rolling when you need to climb, the Mavic Ksyrium Pro Exalith Road Wheels will get you floating to the top.

The unique Ksyrium Pro rims are made from Maxtal alloy and feature Mavic’s ISM 4D technology, which removes material between the spoke holes, giving a great strength to weight ratio. The joint is welding using SUP and have Fore drilling for the spoke holes, which allows the nipples to be threaded into the rims for greater strength.

The Exalith 2 braking surfaces uses a combination of a rough file-like texture and a chemical treatment to increase stopping performance. These wheels come with specific brake pads to take full advantage of the braking power.

To keep the hubs lightweight, Mavic uses a carbon shell in front combined with aluminium flanges. The freewheel is steel for long term durability, and can be converted to Campagnolo standard with a freewheel sold separately.

The 18 spokes in front and 20 in the rear are made from Mavic’s Zicral alloy and feature a bladed, straight-pull shape. They are lighter than steel spokes, while still keeping the wheels stiff. The shape gives them an aerodynamic advantage as well as balances weight and strength. The front lacing radial pattern, while the rear has Mavic’s Isopulse lacing.

The Mavic Ksyrium Pro Exalith road wheels comes with Yksion Pro tyres in 25c size. The front tyre gets Mavic’s GripLink compound that offers excellent grip, while the rear has the PowerLink compound for super low rolling resistance. This gives a perfect balance between fast riding and cornering control.
