Marin Argenta Elite 2016 - Road Bike
Ready to set new records on your ride? The Argenta Elite comes ready to rock with a fully-butted 6061 frame and carbon fork. Based upon our Endurance Fit Geometry, rider placement is optimized to be slightly more upright, with a reduced reach to the handlebars. A smooth riding carbon fork is spec’d to match the frame’s steering geometry and wheelbase to provide a stable ride quality. Shimano Tiagra shifters and derailleurs handle gear-changing duties while a FSA Gossamer compact crank, double-wall, aero profile rims and folding bead Schwalbe 25c tires help complete the lightweight package.
Features:
- Argenta and Ravenna models use carbon-blade forks, which tune out wheel chatter and smooth the ride, while improving bike handling on rough pavement
- Can be easily outfitted with fenders for wet weather riding, or a rear rack
- Argenta and Ravenna models utilize lightweight butted Series 3 6061 aluminum tubing
- Endurance Fit geometry puts you in a relaxed position on the bike to decrease strain and fatigue over long rides, while maintaining a light and lively feel on the road
