The Marin Alcatraz 2 26" is designed for ultimate dirt jump performance, designed in collaboration with pro freerider Matt Jones. The Series 3 aluminium frame is stiff, responsive, and built to take heavy hits, with short chainstays for easy manuals and effortless pop off jumps. Horizontal dropouts ensure a clean, single-speed setup, while ISCG 5 tabs allow for chainguide compatibility.

At the front, the Manitou Circus Expert fork provides 100mm of coil-sprung travel, soaking up landings while offering precise control. The 20mm thru-axle ensures stiffness and stability, giving you the confidence to send big tricks with ease.
Braking is handled by Shimano MT201 hydraulic disc brakes, with 160mm rotors front and rear for reliable stopping power when you need it most. The single-speed drivetrain, featuring a Marin Forged Alloy crankset with a 32T chainring and a 14T rear cog, keeps things simple and robust for dirt jumping and pump track sessions.
Rolling on Marin Custom Extrusion rims and Vee Tire XCV 26x2.25” tyres, the Alcatraz delivers grip, durability, and fast-rolling performance. The Marin DJ saddle and alloy seatpost provide a solid and comfortable setup, built for control during tricks and landings.
With ambidextrous cable routing, you can run your rear brake on either side, making it perfect for riders with different preferences. Available in two frame sizes (Regular and Long), the Alcatraz caters to different riding styles and body types.

Jump Bike Size guide
Jump bikes are designed and intended for Dirt jumps, street and skatepark riding. Not for riding any distance.
They primarily use a 26” wheel with the frame only available in one size, to suit riders taller than 4’5” or 137cm.
Some manufacturers offer a long or short length bike. Riders over 5’10” or 178cm will prefer the longer option.
