Lapierre Spicy 327 Mountain Bike 2015 - Full Suspension MTB

With its race winning frame design the Lapierre Spicy 327 is an enduro mountain bike that can take on any terrain, wherever the trail goes.

Frame & Suspension

Designed specifically for 27.5” wheels the Supreme aluminium alloy frame is stiff strong and offers 150mm of full suspension travel. Lapierre’s tried and tested OST+ suspension system eliminates pedal induced bob and suspension kickback. This means that the suspension is always fully active and pedaling is efficient.

The geometry has been refined over the years and multiple World Enduro Series wins can attest to it’s effectiveness on challenging terrain. The Fox Float shock is positioned neatly out of the way spray from the back wheel and the compression adjuster is within easy reach. Three compression settings allow you to tweak the suspension on the fly to suit different terrain.

A tapered head tube and 15mm bolt through axle on the Fox fork keeps things nice and stiff up front and a 12mm bolt through rear axle keeps the rear in shape. The Fox float fork offers buttery smooth suspension performance with damping adjustments that perfectly match the rear.

Components

The Mavic rims are laced to formula hubs to produce a quality wheelset which is shod in Michelin tyres that are perfect for riding challenging terrain. The Shimano Deore discs offer powerful and reliable stopping power.

The 2x10 speed drivetrain combines components from SRAM and Shimano to give a great platform for trail and enduro riding. Race Face cranks are stiff and lightweight.

The KS dropper post - essential on an enduro bike - has internal cable routing and the saddle can be dropped by 125mm from the handlebar mounted remote lever.
