The Giant Rapid 0 is the ultimate urban commuter. A road inspired, comfortably stretched geometry designed for speed is matched to flat handlebars for better control and visibility in traffic. 

Frame & Fork

Key to the fast acceleration and controlled handling of the Rapid 0 is an Aluxx SL grade aluminium frame which is lightweight and has a high performance strength to weight ratio.

The frame is packed with performance enhancing features such as double butted tubes for a lighter frame. The Overdrive steerer tube gives you a stiffer front end with extra steering precision. This is something you’ll want on compact, busy urban commutes.

Comfort upfront comes in the form of a carbon bladed fork. Carbon composite has natural road vibration damping qualities, leaving your hands and arms feeling less fatigued on longer rides.

There are also lugs for mudguards and racks, giving the Rapid 0 extra practicality. Carry all your essential ride gear in panniers, and stay clean and dry with mudguards.

Components

The Giant Rapid 0 is the best spec’d model in the range with a performance level Shimano 105 11 speed drivetrain and FSA Gossamer compact chainset. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes have great modulation, power and reliability.

Giant’s own P-R2 wheels are stiff for a responsive, road inspired ride. These wheels are wrapped in puncture resistant tyres for hassle free riding. 28mm wide tyres are a great balance between speed and durability.
