Frame & Fork

Core to performance is the Advanced Grade composite carbon frame, built with only the highest grade raw carbon fibres. These fibres are specifically chosen because of the high stiffness to weight ratio. The resin incorporates vibration damping particles so you feel less fatigued on longer races.

To shave every gram they can, Giant’s engineers construct the Propel Advanced Pro as a modified monocoque. The single piece front triangle is joined to the rear stays. This removes the need for the outermost composite sheet.  

The Pro 0 is a true aero road race bike, designed and refined with CFD (computational fluid dynamics) and wind tunnel data. Air turbulence is minimised around the frame for explosive speed.

Down low is the rock solid PowerCore bottom bracket area. This oversized junction will not budge, even when you’re putting the power down. Upfront front is an OverDrive 2 steerer and full composite (advanced grade) carbon fork for ultimate stiffness and knife edge steering.

Components

Experience the benefits of electronic shifting with the pro level Shimano Ultegra Di2 11 speed groupset. Ultra fast, ultra precise shifting for maximum efficiency. Additional shift buttons can be positioned where you want them for a custom feel that’s best for you.

Clad to the composite frame is the Shimano Ultegra 11 speed drivetrain with mid compact cranks. This is matched to SpeedControl SL brakes in an aero efficient package. The whole setup is designed for road race performance.

Giant’s SLR 0 Aero wheelsystem feature a deep 55mm rim profile helps you slice through wind in an extremely lightweight carbon composite rim. The tyres are specifically made for these wheels.

Shaving weight off the frame is a full composite Vector seatpost, aero designed for minimal drag.

The Advanced Pro 0 comes with RideSense, a chainstay integrated wireless data transmitter. This removable transmitter sends wheel speed and cadence information directly to any ANT+ compatible computer.
