Giant Defy Advanced 1 2017 - Road Bike

Smooth, fast, engineered for endurance. The Giant Defy Advanced 1 is a road bike that offers an incredibly smooth ride so you can stay fresh from start to finish on even the longest, hardest days.

Handcrafted using high performance grade carbon fibres, with a resin formulation that includes vibration damping particles, the frame is stiff where it needs to be, for efficient power transfer and precise handling. The ride is also incredibly smooth thanks to the ultra-thin, flattened seatstays and D-fuse seat seatpost that work to smooth out rough roads. Combined with a slightly more upright endurance geometry this helps to reduce fatigue so that you can stay fresh in the saddle for longer.

Designed specifically for disc brakes the Defy features Shimano RS-505 hydraulic disc brakes, with 12mm thru-axles front and rear, for confident all-weather braking control. The Shimano Ultegra 2x11 speed drivetrain, with compact chainset and wide range cassette offers silky-smooth shifting with a wide range of gears so you can take on all the varied terrain on your route.

From Sportives to epic solo rides the Giant Defy Advanced 1 will keep you fresh in the saddle for longer.
