With its lightweight frame, suspension fork and quality Shimano components the GT Avalanche Elite is a hardtail mountain bike for rapid riding on cross-country trails and tracks.

Hydroformed and butted to optimise strength and reduce weight the aluminium frame offers a stable riding position for confident off-road adventures. Fast rolling over rough terrain the 27.5” wheels are also nimble in tight turns.

The SR Suntour XCR fork offers 100mm of plush suspension travel to smooth out the trail. A remote lever allows you to lock the fork out for increased efficiency on smooth surfaces.

The Shimano 3x10 speed drivetrain delivers reliable shifting over a very wide range of gears so that you can take on all types of terrain from loose climbs gravel to tarmac descents. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful stopping control that will work reliably in all weather conditions.
