Felt Z95 2016 - Road Bike

Ride further, faster and longer with Felt’s most versatile road bike, the 2016 Z95. Ideal for sportive and endurance riding the Felt Z95 is comfortable over long distances and extremely efficient. This is not a sluggish endurance bike.

Frame & Fork

Here is an endurance bike that combines road bike efficiency with a super lightweight aluminium frame, and comfort with a slightly more upright riding position. A long wheel base also gives you extra stability, ideal for sportive riding.

The Custom butted 6061 frame is light, stiff and strong for all round performance. Shaving excess material away from the tubes, called butting, reduces weight while hydroformed junctions optimise strength and stiffness.

Front-end stiffness from a tapered head tube and carbon bladed fork provides precision steering for navigating urban roads or high-speed cornering during a sportive. The carbon blades also soak up road buzz for a more comfortable ride.

Components

Equipped is a Shimano Sora 9 speed drivetrain with an FSA Vero compact chainset. Smooth steps between gears makes it easy to choose an option to match you pedalling speed (cadence). Felt’s RSL3 wheels are the same as you find on the higher priced Z85 and Z5 models for excellent value.

Size specific short reach handlebars and crank lengths (as well as stem) gives you the best fit on the frame, regardless of the frame size you choose. These features will keep you in the saddle for longer.
