Felt Z100 2016 - Road Bike

The 2016 Felt Z100 is a highly versatile road bike for sportive and long distance riders wanting a comfortable and efficient steed that can eat up the miles. The Felt Z series is also a traffic beating commuter bike with the Z100 eligible to purchase through a Cycle to Work scheme.

Frame & Fork

Felt’s Z series is built around an endurance road geometry. The slightly more upright position provides a comfortable and efficient ride feel for long days in the saddle. A long wheel base also gives you extra stability, ideal for sportive riding.

At it’s heart is a custom butted 6061 aluminium frame, which is light, stiff and strong. Shaving excess material away from the tubes, butting, reduces weight while hydroformed junctions optimise strength and stiffness.

Stiffness is improved upfront with a tapered head tube for better steering precision. Helping improve stiffness is also a carbon bladed fork, that soaks up road buzz for a more comfortable ride.

Components

You get a Shimano Claris 2x8 speed drivetrain and FSA compact chainset set up. The wide range cassette helps you fly up the hills. Felt’s RSL3 wheels are the same as you find on the higher priced Z85 and Z5 models for excellent value.

Size specific short reach handlebars and crank lengths (as well as stem) gives you the best fit on the frame, regardless of the frame size you choose.
