Cube Analog 29 Mountain Bike 2015 - Hardtail MTB

The Cube Analog 29er is a capable recreational XC mountain bike. Ride off-road tracks, gravel paths, cross country trails and even the occasional trail centre visit.

Frame & Suspension

At the heart of the Analog is a 6061 aluminium frame with mechanically formed tubes for a surprisingly light frame.

Cube have taken special care with the aesthetics of the hardtail MTB thanks to internal cable routing and scratch resistant paint. Internal routing also keeps your cables protected from the elements and the paint keeps your ride looking good for longer. Small features like the chainstay mounted rear disc caliper all add to the look of the bike.

Agile ride geometry creates a frame which is balanced with a comfortable riding position. Agile and playful handling give you a fun experience.

A RockShox XC30 fork with a supple coil spring and 100mm travel provides comfort and control on rougher tracks. The PopLoc remote lockout lever improves efficiency on the flats and climbs to remove that bobbing effect. At this price point it’s good to see such a capable fork.

Components

A 3x9 speed Shimano Deore/Alivio groupset for reliable shifting and wide range of gears for tackling steep off road climbs. Hydraulic disc brakes are a worthy addition. These brakes are powerful and reliable in all weather conditions.

Fast rolling Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres are well suited for off-road riding. When you get back on the road these tyres won’t slow you down much either.

Overall a solid hardtail MTB for recreational fun and even more of the rough stuff at your local trail centre.
