Cannondale Trail 3 27.5" - Nearly New - Medium - 2017 Mountain Bike

This Cannondale Trail 3 mountain bike is completely brand new. However, during transit and display it has picked up some superficial marks to the paint finish on the drive-side dropout and top tube of the frame. Having never been ridden, this bike remains in perfect ‘as-new’ working condition and has received a thorough inspection by our professional mechanics.

As with all our bikes, it comes with a 12 month Tredz warranty, plus any additional manufacturer warranty which may apply.

The quality 6061 aluminium frame features smooth welds and butted tubes. Butting is process where excess material is removed from low stress areas to keep weight down without compromising strength.

The RockShox 30 Silver fork offers 100mm of plush suspension travel. Performance through the rough stuff is composed. Rebound damping is adjustable so you can set the fork up to work at its best when the trail gets rowdy. On smooth surfaces the fork can be locked out for efficiency.

The Shimano Deore/Alivio drivetrain offers slick, reliable shifting over a wide range of gears so that you can take on all the gradients that you’ll find on your off-road loop. You will be able to control your speed with confidence thanks to the Shimano disc brakes. These are hydraulic discs which offer powerful, consistent and controllable braking performance whether the trails are dry, wet or extremely muddy.

The Trail features 27.5” (650b) wheels which roll much faster over rough ground than the smaller 26” wheels found on traditional MTBs and are a distinct performance advantage. Alex double walled rims are strong and durable while the WTB NineLine tyres feature low profile knobs. Offering grip on loose surfaces they won’t slow you down too much on the road. This opens the Trail 5 up to commuter duties as well as off-road riding.
