Frame & Fork

Cannondale has impressed with the quality of their frame at this price point. Optimized 6061 aluminium alloy (single butted) is ideal for road biking, being light, stiff and strong. However, when you're riding an epic, you don't want to be uncomfortable. That's where SAVE PLUS micro-suspension comes in.

The micro-sus in the rear stay assembly helps to soak up road vibrations whilst remaining rigid for great cornering and power transfer.

Geometry has been thoughtfully optimized for womens endurance riding thanks to a taller head tube (than their SuperSix counterparts), a gently sloping top tube, slightly relaxed head angle and longer wheelbase. So you're in a more upright position for comfort, which is still lively and stable - it's not sluggish.

A carbon bladed fork with SAVE technology provides extra front end stiffness with road buzz dampening for extra comfort. This fork also improve steering precision - great on the open-road, or in a busy urban commute.

There are also rack and fender mounts on the frame, again highlighting the machine as a capable commuter, as well as a sportive racer.

Components

The Synapse Tiagra comes with a Shimano Tiagra groupset which is reliable, durable and performs well. Maddux RD 3.0 rims will keep you rolling smoothly on tarmac and Schwalbe Lugano tyres give you great grip.

Women specific features such as the Ergo saddle and Cannondale's C4 compact handlebar give you a better fit and improved comfort whilst riding. The 105 Disc is also available in smaller sizes than the men's models.
