Cannondale Synapse Sora 7 Womens 2015 - Road Bike

The Synapse Sora 7 womens road bike is the perfect introduction to road riding for ladies. You can use the Synapse for a range of riding not just the endurance rides it's designed for. Fitness training, leisure, commuting and even a sportive racing are possible with the Sora 7.

Needless to say, this is a versatile bike. All this in a machine that's eligible for Cycle 2 Work.

Frame & Fork

Strong, light and stiff optimized 6061 aluminium alloy provide excellent performance and handling. You get up to speed quickly and then keep rolling efficiently, even through the corners.

SAVE PLUS micro suspension in the rear stay assembly allows a bit of vertical deflection to absorb road buzz whilst staying laterally rigid for efficient cornering and power transfer.

Cannondale have spent a long time developing the perfect endurance geometry for the Synapse Sora 7. A taller head tube (compared to their elite race geometry), gently sloping top tube, slightly relaxed head angle and longer wheelbase put you into a more upright position - lively and stable and not sluggish. The womens models of the Sora come in smaller sizes too for a better fit.

A carbon bladed fork with SAVE technology provides extra front end stiffness with road buzz dampening for extra comfort. This fork also improve steering precision - great on the open-road, or in a busy urban commute.

Rack and fender mounts give a nod towards the versatility and commuter capabilities.

Components

Cannondale have spec'd the Sora 7 well too with a Shimano Sora drivetrain - capable, reliable and durable for efficient gearing and shifting. Tektro dual pivot brakes give you all the stopping power you need and Maddux RS 3.0 rims will keep you rolling smoothly, mile after mile.

At this price point the Synapse Sora 7 is a very good endurance bike for those wanting comfort and speed.

Women specific features such as the Ergo saddle and Cannondale's C4 compact handlebar give you a better fit and improved comfort whilst riding. The 105 Disc is also available in smaller sizes than the men's models.
