Frame & Fork

The top-end Synapse is very light, very fast and easy to ride - with clear race potential. It?ll glide over any tarmac surface.

Cannondale use their highest quality BallisTec Hi-MOD carbon composite for the frame. The use of high and ultra high modulus fibres result in a frame that?s light but also very stiff - ideal for transferring all your energy into power.

SAVE PLUS technologies in the frame and fork work together to absorb road buzz as you pound along. It?s very comfortable to ride, even on epic journeys.

The fork features the same carbon composite as the frame to add extra front end stiffness and dampen road vibrations. The 1-?" to 1-?" tapered steerer improves steering for performance level precision.

Now to geometry. Riders of Team Cannondale put their two cents in and have developed a position with a slightly taller head tube, longer wheelbase and slacker head tube. It blends racing with upright comfort...and is bang on the money for this type of bike.

Components

Shimano?s ultra performance Dura Ace 9000 groupset is light with smooth shifting. It?s the best of the best. The hydraulic disc brakes are also very powerful in all conditions with great modulation.
