Frame & Fork

The entire Synapse range benefits from a high quality frame, optimised for endurance riding on tarmac. Cannondale's BallisTec Carbon which uses medium and high modulus fibres is extremely light, strong and stiff for the ultimate in road performance. Matched to the frame is a carbon fork with a tapered steerer. This provides front end stiffness and allows for precise turning at speed - ideal in a sportive race.

SAVE micro-suspension in both the frame and fork add comfort on longer ride by working together to soak up road vibrations from travelling up the frame and into your muscles. This keeps you feeling fresher for longer.

The frame is Di2 ready, so if you plan to upgrade the Ultegra groupset to Di2 you can.

Components

Women specific features such as the Fi'zi:k Vesta saddle and Cannondale's C3 Womens Compact Wing handlebar give you a better fit and improved comfort whilst riding. The 105 Disc is also available in smaller sizes than the men's models.

As the name suggest, the Synapse Carbon Ultegra 3 comes with a Shimano Ultegra 6800 (11-speed) groupset. This groupset is very light and very precise for crisp gearing and fantastic braking.
