Frame & Fork

The heart of the Carbon 105 6 is medium and high modulus BallisTec carbon fibre, so it has all the properties needed of a performance road machine.

Comfort is a big factor on any endurance bike. The Synapse is comfortable thanks to SAVE PLUS micro-suspension in the rear triangle, fork, seatpost and seat tube. All of these features work together to reduce your fatigue whilst riding, and at the same time improve handling. Even the longest rides are comfortable.

The ride is lively and stable thanks to optimised geometry. The headtube is taller, the wheelbase is longer and the head angle is slacker than their Elite Race Geometry found on the SuperSix Evo's. This makes for a balanced ride somewhere between a racier position and upright comfort.

Components

Women specific features such as the Ergo saddle and Cannondale's C3 Womens Compact Wing handlebar give you a better fit and improved comfort whilst riding. The Carbon 105 6 is also available in smaller sizes than the men's models.

A Shimano 105 groupset (11 speed) provides reliable and crisp performance over a wide range of gears. It's also worth noting that the frame is Di2 ready for a future upgrade. Shimano RS010 rims are smooth rolling and are race-proven - ideal for use in a sportive.
