Boardman HYB 8.8 Womens 2023 - Hybrid Sports Bike

Fast, fun and versatile is what the HYB range of leisure and fitness hybrids is all about. Frames take inspiration from our SLR road range, but with an extra bit of stability baked in. Puncture-protected 35mm tyres balance low rolling resistance with a plush ride and offer enough grip for light off-roading too. Our new one-piece integrated handlebar and stem adds a clean aesthetic to the look and feel, while the ergonomic grips help to reduce numbness and long ride discomfort.

Combining a triple-butted 6061 Aluminium frame and full carbon tapered fork, the HYB 8.8 Women's is a lightweight and agile machine. A 1X10 Shimano Deore drivetrain borrows MTB technology meaning you only need one shifter up front, and with a wide range 11-46 tooth cassette at the rear and a single 44 tooth chainring at the front you have plenty of options for those steep ascents and fast flats.

As well as the groupset, Shimano also provide their MT200 hydraulic disc brakes which give powerful, consistent stopping power in all weather conditions. Schwalbe Citizen 35mm tyres with Kevlar (K-Guard) puncture protection deals with rough roads and gravel trails without any difficulties.

Finishing the package is our new HYB one-piece handlebar and stem specifically designed for a female fit. This bar works in combination with our soft-touch, adjustable ergonomic grips, women's specific HYB saddle and shorter crank arms for the best possible riding experience.
