The Boardman HYB 8.6 Women's is a fast and comfortable all-rounder which takes the speed of a road bike and adds in comfort and stability with a more upright position. With contact points and components tailored for female riders, the 8.6 makes a perfect ride for fun, fitness or commuting.

A lightweight triple butted aluminium frame transfers power efficiently and won’t hold you back when climbing. 2x9 speed Shimano Alivio drivetrain combines a 48/32t chain-set with an 11-36t 9 speed cassette to give a wide range and low climbing gears, and Tektro HD-M276 hydraulic disc brakes provide easily controlled stopping power. These feature a short reach lever which is ideal for smaller hands. 35mm Schwlabe Citizen tyres grip well and roll fast, while offering good puncture resistance through their K-Guard Kevlar protection.
We’ve developed a female specific saddle which is padded but supportive and should ensure many miles of comfortable riding. Narrower and shorter handlebars and stems than on the men’s bikes combine with soft touch, ergonomically shaped grips to ensure a comfortable hand position. With fixtures for mudguards and a pannier rack too, the HYB 8.6 is a very versatile package.

Boardman HYB 8.6 Womens 2023 - Hybrid Sports Bike
This bike is a lovely colour and feels great to ride. I went for a medium even though I'm 5ft4 because I've been measured at a bike shop. It's great that Tredz accept various C2W schemes. Great bike for road and gravel.
