“I think e-MTBing came along at the right time for us, as we never wanted a conventional hobby and had struggled to find much enjoyment in regular riding,” explains Lisa, over the excited yells of Denise and Michelle in the background. The women come to a halt behind her, their hair windswept around their faces, their shouts and smiles testifying to the amazing descent they’ve just come down. “Exactly,” interjects Denise, “but it took a while to find this thrill. We get such a kick when we go out on our Speedfox AMPs, which I think is what was missing before. When we first went riding a few years ago, it felt more like a chore.”

The three women are visibly stoked. Michelle speaks: “I mean, look at us now, this proves why. And in a minute we'll be on that climb over there too. Pedal, peak, repeat.” They laugh, get out their phones and open up the map. On this particular ride mission, they're decided to go ‘peak bagging’, so where's their next summit going to be?
