Felt F95 Jr. 2016 - Road Bike
For rides not yet ready to transition to a 700c adult wheel, the 2016 Felt F95 Jr. is a great choice. Built from a custom butted aluminium frame and matched to a carbon fibre fork, this 44cm road bike packs a big punch.
Frame & Fork
Key to riding performance is the lightweight custom butted 6061 aluminium frame. 6061 is praised for it’s low weight, strength and stiffness - it’s the ideal material for road cycling. To shave extra weight excess aluminium has been removed from the frame where it isn’t needed.
Upfront is a UHC Carbon fibre bladed fork to reduce weight further and increase stiffness for steering precision. The composite fork also helps soak up road buzz for a more comfortable ride.
Components
Equipped is a Shimano Sora 9 speed drivetrain with FSA compact cranks, ideal for fast paced riding. Short reach brake levers and shifters make the F95 Jr. more suitable for smaller hands. 650c wheels are wrapped in fast rolling 23c tyres.
With the Felt F95 Jr. they will ride faster than they’ve ever been before. It’s the ideal bike for honing skills and improve fitness before moving onto an adult bike.

A kid's bike is designed to take account of their smaller physical dimensions. While the most common sizes for children's bikes are 12, 16, 20 and 24-inch wheel bikes, some companies also make 14-inch and 18-inch wheel sizes to bridge the gap between sizes. These two sizes are less common and parts or spares such as tyres and tubes may be harder to find. Most good bikes will be adjustable by raising the saddle and handlebars as the child grows.
