Women’s specific 150mm trail bike

The all new Specialized Rhyme is hard hitting trail bike that is built specifically for the demands of female mountain bikers. Based on the iconic Stumpjumper FSR the Rhyme features a slack head angle and low bottom bracket height, for stability while the ultra short chainstays ensure that the bike remains nimble in tight turns. The Rhyme is offered with 650b wheels for fast rolling performance.

The Rhyme has a very light feel and it is easy to throw the bike around. Its descending ability and performance on technical terrain is the best that you can get in a Women’s specific package. The Rhyme is no slouch uphill either and the FSR suspension offers excellent traction over rough terrain.

Features

Suspension tuned for lighter riders

Each model and frame size has a specific shock tune. Specialized call this Women’s RX trail tune and every rear shock has had the volume, compression and rebound range matched specifically for rider size and weight.

Taking into account the lower average weight of female riders the suspension is far more supple than that found on unisex bikes. This means that you will have access to optimized suspension performance whichever size you ride.

Fast uphill, faster down

Playful and nimble, the Rhyme is a game changer in terms of Women’s specific long travel trail bike performance. You will find that Rhyme works with you, not against you, as it doesn’t need to be muscled around like some long travel bikes. It’s climbing prowess means that you don’t need to sacrifice downhill performance in order to get up the hills efficiently.

Women’s specific contact points like the Myth saddle ensures a comfortable ride while the SWAT door on the carbon models means that yo won’t need to carry so much kit in your backpack.

FSR Suspension

What? Active 4 bar suspension system

Why? The back wheel moves in a linear path and is not affected by chain tension - the suspension remains active when pedaling and there is no annoying pedal kick back or pedal induced bob.

Women’s RX Trail Tune

What? Custom shock volume, compression and rebound

Why? The shock performance is optimised to work perfectly with each model and size in the range.

SWAT door

What? Storage space built into the down tube

Why? So you can store all your tail essentials; tubes, pump, etc. low on the bike. This means that you don’t need to carry so much weight on your back. Featured on the carbon framed models only.
