Flex Stays are designed for vertical compliance to soak up vibrations while staying laterally rigid for efficient poer transfer. The carbon fibres are bonded with an epoxy resin with added nano particles that improve impact resistance of the frame by 40%.

Upfront the full carbon fork adds stiffness to the front end thanks to the double chambers as well as the tapered head tube and bolt through axle.

The Cyclo Cross 5000 is equipped with powerful SRAM hydraulic disc brakes with excellent modulation and consistent braking in all weather. You also get the reliable, easy to use and low maintenance SRAM Apex 1x11 drivetrain. Smooth rolling Merida Expert rims are wrapped in cyclocross ready, chunky 33mm wide Maxxis Mud Wrestler tyres for added grip in the dirt.

With off road capability the Cyclo Cross 5000 is perfect for riding gravel tracks, rough roads and bridleways as well as cyclocross racing.
