Giant Defy 2 2015 - Road Bike

Completely redesigned for 2015 the Defy 2 is an even more effective endurance road bike than it?s very successful predecessors. Improving compliance, whilst maintaining the relaxed geometry that has made the Defy so popular, Giant have produced a bike that will keep you riding faster for longer.

The rear end of the ALUXX SL aluminium frame, different from previous models, is now more compliant . The D-Fuse carbon composite seatpost, dissipates vibrations over a larger area which gives a more comfortable and ride reduces fatigue.

This extra compliance doesn?t compromise stiffness where it matters however. Power transfer is efficient, even when stomping on the pedals, due to the oversized PowerCore bottom bracket area. The OverDrive steerer on the carbon composite fork ensures sharp, precise steering while also reducing ?road buzz?.

The Shimano Tiagra 20 speed drivetrain provides clean, crisp, shifting with a good close range of gears options.

Redefining what an endurance road bike can do the Giant Defy 2 will make you want to keep on riding mile after mile.
